I love 10AM mandatory meetings. My crew works at night so having us come in for a meeting at 10 would be like having a meeting at 1AM for those of you who work a 9-5. I am going back to bed now.

I can't sleep if it makes you feel better Andy, but I am watching the Munsters which is probably way better then your meeting was.

I fell asleep around 2 last night. Yhaira has been out of town for a few days and I've only gotten around 4 hours each night

Can't sleep without the woman, I even got some and still couldn't sleep. I don't know what the deal was last night but I seriously didn't sleep a second.

I slept fine alone when I was single, but now I can't ever fall asleep if the wife isn't home and by my side.

I would like to say that's my subconscious protective side or something but that would totally conflict with a dream she had last night; she said she had dreamed that someone broke in and she shot and killed them while me and our dog slept through the whole thing. I guess sometimes being half deaf is a benefit - you don't have to deal with crying babies, noisy cars, fireworks, barking dogs, or noisy gunshots waking you up

On a brighter note, since I couldn't sleep I went ahead and came into work an hour or so early before anyone else was in the building and I actually got some work done!

I don't stress about work at home anymore. I used to be really bad about it then realized one day that it really didn't matter. Work was going to be there whether I was or not so why should I worry about it. Think about it, if you just didn't show up tomorrow, would the company continue to run? The answer is yes, so to the company you are nothing more than a footnote, why should the company be any more than that to you?

I would love to have that same attitude about my work, in fact that's the exact attitude I have about most things. But when it comes to work I have these nasty habits called eating, sleeping under a roof, feeding my Jeep habit, etc. that make me want to work to support those habits. This results in subsequent stress when I am employed by a company that manages through fear and intimidation and my options for another job with equitable pay & benefits (benefits are most important to me) are severely limited.

Pretty easy to tell. If their back legs are shaped like a kangaroo that's what it is. If it doesn't and has a tail roughly 1 1/2 size it's body it is a roof rat. If its ears are twice the size of its eyes it is a Norway rat. Color doesn't matter. Oh and throw up some pics.

The rats had big rear legs and a long tail with a tuft of fur at the end...
