I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.
The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.
So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!
Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?
If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!
alright. I will report back when I do it. I honestly figured it was done for. But it's worth a shot. Thanks. Anyone have an engine hoist they aren't using?
awesome man!! I am going to pull the head and inspect and go from there. I will let you know if/when I need it. I will start setting aside some military gear for you!!! Haha
crap. Well I don't even know if my motor is toast yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. My problem is that I am not a huge Motörhead. I'm a decent mechanic but I'm not very good at diagnosing these kind of problems.
Hit up Khris if you need an engine stand. He still has mine, and you can use it if you need to. Just let me know. That thing may make it's rounds around this forum before it's all said and done! Lol
Yeah, I've still got Power's engine stand right now at my house which ^^^^ You're welcome to come grab. I'd offer up my engine hoist too but I'm finding having it around is super convenient now for getting shocks on and off my rides for service and I'll be doing that a few times here over the next couple weeks so I kind of need it. If you just wanted it though for a day or two you could have at it though for sure.
Well I guess depending on what happens I will borrow the hoist from Bonez and if I need the engine stand it would be awesome if I could use yours powr.
Anyone have a transmission floor jack I could borrow? I'm shoving a t56 magnum into a foxbody and I tore up a pilot bearing trying to do it with a regular floor jack.
I may break down and buy one but it seems the horror freight model is not any cheaper than a normal cheapo unit.
Nvm guys, picked up a cheapo unit from harbor freight and got the trans in. If anyone wants to borrow this thing let me know, its the 450 lb low lift trans jack. It worked ok.
Looks like I might have my jeep a bit longer. We received our settlement checks this week from our car accident at the end of 2013. It isn't enough to pay off my student loans but over double what they told me I was gonna get. Then I found out I'm nominated for employee of the year, this week is starting off great lol

Well, I've talked to some of you in person about this, but it's actually just about as official as it can be now.
Dani has accepted a job in Reno, and I am currently waiting on an offer with a company that I interviewed with several weeks ago. We have both submitted our official 2 weeks notice and are in the process of getting a rental house.
Part of me is sad to leave this city and the friends I've gained over the last 10 years, but the other part of me is incredibly excited. Reno will be a great fit for us, I've enjoyed everything I have seen and experienced up there so far. This will be an excellent step forward in both of our careers from where we are now, which was the driving reason behind this move. We originally were not even planning to start looking for places to relocate until after the wedding, but something fell in our lap for Dani, and once we decided to pursue it, I found what appears to be a great opportunity as well.
So, if all goes to plan, We'll be out of the city in about 3 weeks. Absolute craziness. We've been working on this for a month or two, but now its real and freakin' me out a little!

Sweet! They have some killer trails up there with great camping! I want to take my quad up there for sure.
Make sure you find a place where you can park your **** lol
So... The team can crash your house after the Vegas 2 Reno race in August? Just making sure I heard that right Marn... LOL
