Nothing else was loose. Really perplexing why those two bolts were the only thing wrong when nothing has been done to the brakes in a while.

Oh well. Hats off to Garza for hooking me up with the part # and recommendation to hit up the local auto parts store rather than buying from the stealership and having to wait 2-3 days for them to arrive. I hadn't thought something like that would be at the auto parts store.. meh, shows how much I know.

Glad to hear that it was a quick fix. That c-clamp was your savior, you should put that puppy in a frame and put it on the wall.

Heck yeah, I have carried one ever since I had to replace u joints on one of my rigs that ate them like crazy couldn't get more than 80-120 miles out of a ujoint, turns out I was just using crappy ujoints and once I switched to spicer, no problems.

Moral? Be prepared and don't cheap out.

Art work here. Frame grab from dust to glory. My old original expo on the left with the yellow arrow pointing to it and me on the right with the horrible red arrow.

I've never had anything stolen in Mexico. Now America, that's a different story!

So my steering stabilizer took a good beating on tater ridge and I am looking at replacements. With stock rubi tires I am assuming that stock should be fine. I was thinking about either getting stock or a crown one. But then I saw that the teraflex ones are only a few bucks more... then the ARB old man emu one is almost double the price.

does anybody have any recommendations or ones that I should stay away from?

Honestly....I wouldn't hesitate to run a Rancho......it's what I put on my builds unless of course I use hydro assist.

RS5418 is what you need, I can get you one if you decide to go that route.

I've always been an OME fan regardless of the price.

I have never heard anything bad about the OME, but being double the price of everything else just makes me question it.

I am just amazed that there was not even a single one on craigslist, the closest one was in St George or all the way down in the Inland Empire.

Nothing wrong with the OME, but like anything else from ARB it carries a small premium lol.

The illuminati meeting was today. Those guys should be back soon. You can't expect them to take over the world without holding meetings can you?
