So I got rid of the 2012 Durango we had last Sat. at CarMax. They offered a lot higher than I expected so I got out of that high payment BS, and got my wife an '07 Yukon. BY FAR the most pleasant vehicle transaction I have ever experienced from a retail style location (I understand it's a non haggle type deal). I will probably never buy another new vehicle and will always check CarMax unless I find a by owner sale (which is what I usually like to do).
We take the Yukon into their service dept. yesterday evening due to a couple small things I want done....anyway, I drive up in my Jeep and park right in front in the little cul-de-sac where they appraise vehicles, then walk around the corner to meet my wife. About 15min go by and I decide to go get my Jeep and keep it closer to where we are at. There is like 10 customers and half the employees checking out my Jeep when I get around the corner. You know that feeling like "yea that's right, it's mine"
JK They actually wanted to appraise it........the look on their face when I said the appraisal would have to be real close to the 2012 Jaguar XF they had on the lot.
