I would say that while it does look fake... someone would have to really put a lot of work to make it look like that. The reflection of the drivers window and the shadows all make it look real to me.

Finally!!! The race truck has shackles deserving of being on it!!!! LOL The old ones worked but they were puny spindly looking turds that had inherent maintenance issues and design flaws for something getting flogged as hard as that truck gets. Very happy with these new ones... Not like they're rocket science but still...

Not sure what the going rate on say a stock one would go but... The total chaos uppers and bolt in coilover are really nothing that special. Retail if you're doing the install yourself, which it's an easy install... You're probably looking at $2000-2200 max off the top of my head I'm guessing. Like $800 for the arms, probably $1000 for the shocks. I don't think there's much if anything out there for the rear suspension on those without going 100% custom.

If you wanted something different from the norm, that fits the bill. Offroad wise, it's going to be better then stock but don't expect anything mind blowing from an upper arm, bolt in coilover and some bolt in fox rear shocks. I bet you pickup 10-15mph in the rough over stock with what that thing has.

Curious why the motor and trans on an '08 has already been replaced though. How much of it has been hammered on?

It's got a lot of other nice goodies but as far as offroad goes, don't expect a whole lot out of it...

Anyone wanna swing on these? They're ready to go!

Tomorrow night I'll get the bumpstops cut off and start working on relocating those. I have to do some welding on a jeep tomorrow night as well. I'll finish up the bumpstops friday night. Sat morning I'm finally getting my exploder aligned and then I'll head home and modify the axle housing a bit to fix a u-bolt issue I don't like and then reassemble the whole thing and get it back on the ground hopefully. Sunday I might make some changes on my truck actually and get the new intercom wires installed and routed. Then maybe take it out Sunday afternoon possibly. Next week I'm hoping to get going on finishing the rock sliders on the exploder so I can get them painted up. They're actually starting to rust and soon Power will not approve of them if I'm not careful!

Good times, always busy! Joy joy!
