Now you do realize his name is "Photo"Jared, right? That would imply an interest and/or affinity for photography. I'm just sayin'...

Yeah, the name wasn't lost on me, but a LOT of people consider themselves photographers and really suck, I liked some of his pics and had no problem telling him so; regardless of whether or not he has an interest in or an affinity for photography.

LOL These are what we were running and wore all the mounting holes oval in.

Obviously mine look drastically different. Length is the same though. The tubing is 2"x.120 DOM, same material the cab portion of the cage is built from. The surface where the shackle bolt goes thru at the frame end is twice the thickness of the ones below and at the leaf end it's actually 3 times the thickness!!! More importantly though, I used a larger diameter end tube that allows an actual friggen socket to slide into it and makes it EASY to tighten!!!! These are virtually identical to the ones I built and used on my truck before I linked it and never once had an issue with...

Ones I built for my yota like 7 years ago probably...

^^^^^ BTW, that's the R&D dept. for OR Fab for those of you that know the product line, also trailmaster suspension and Performance Accessories Bodylifts. That's who I did design work for before I moved here. I won't take credit for any trailmaster lifts though prior to '05!!!! '05-'09 is my doing though! LOL

Sick truck bro!!!!

Don't worry about the suspension geometry, just has to look SIIIICCCKKK!!!

*****in prerunner dude!!!!

Who does your fab work???

And that's just samples off the last page of the 534 page thread!!! LOL

I'm not much of a welder but I've never produced a weld that looked that sketchy.

Yeah, seems like you'd really have to put out some effort to get one that ugly! Even mig with wind doesn't do that. Flux core maybe if I was welding blind? I think I may have some REALLY old stick welds from when I was an early teen that looked like that... But who stick welds these days unless you're doing it at work. No hobbiest use stick welders... Or if you do you're either insane or building fences or something.

I can honestly say that I have never even put down a weld like that.

I remember my very first weld, which is a funny story. It was in my auto hobby shop class in high school. The teacher wanted to know if anybody could weld and after years of watching my dad do it, I was sorta cocky so I said that I could. Needless to say I only forgot to turn on the gas. But the funny part is that the teacher said that the weld would never hold the two pieces together and proceeded to try to break them apart. After a little while of beating it with a hammer, then a bigger hammer, he said "Sometimes even crappy welds can hold together."

^^^^ LOL, I've never claimed to be a "welder" but I can stick metal together pretty good in my opinion!
