Well that was a waste of time at carmax every car wanted like 2k down which I dont have...

Does anyone have a spare vehicle for me to get to work for a couple weeks so I can build up a nice down payment??

I have a wagoneer with no brakes, and a nova that doesnt run when it's over 85* outside....I dont think that would help....

Both banks that I bank with require the car to be 2003 or newer with less then 88,000 miles before they will do an auto loan.

If my yota wasn't such a oddball vehicle I'd actually consider letting you borrow it but being what it is and that it's for sale, the timing just isn't there... First time you take a turn and have no brakes I'd for sure regret letting you borrow it! LOL

Not sure if it's any help, but there is a guy on nevada shooters that seems pretty desperate to sell his 2002 Hyunday Accent. Asking $2200, i bet you could get it for less than that.

Hardly a beautiful or luxurious car, but it's cheap and would likely be reliable? We had an Elantra from that era and it just kept on runnin' strong until it was totaled.
