That's a rare occurrence here in town! Nobody waves. I waved once years ago in my TJ and got flipped off.

When I bought my TJ in NH and was driving it home all sorts of people were waving. I thought they must have thought I was the old owner or something. Turns out it was a jeep wave.

Not here though. And definitely not with the wag.

I wave ALL of the time! Doin it old school in the CJ. I've had one person wave back. That's it! Was shocked beyond belief when someone waved at me first. Even my girl was like WTF was that?! She thinks it's hysterical that I'm waving at everyone in a jeep.

I only wave at.... oh wait really nobody! Lol. First I rarely get waved at back, and these "lifted" people piss me off. The worst people I've found here are the people in Cherokees and a lot of TJ's.

Now I will say I USED to find it wierd when Jeep people wave at guys in other makes such as Toyota's etc etc, its always been that you only wheel and wave at your same kind lol

They call themselves offroaders but they are not, they don't have the mindset of "group in, group out" and they're more worried about scratches and waxing and polishing their rigs.

And I know that its my mindset from WA, when you wheel it's to have fun. I've used trees as a pivot to get through stuff, ripped off doors by a tree branch, smashed windows and trashed fenders.

So, ummm I need a bit of help guys. My tie rod is now so bent that I can't drive my XJ until I straighten it out a bit. Any one here willing to drive out to my home and man handle my tie rod into place? I would do it my self, however I am one arm down at the moment and I have some tools need delivering to a friend who has been kind enough to loan me for an unexpectedly long duration. Any help would be awesome, and returned in due time(as soon as I am healed enough to do as needed). So, if some one could lend some hands text or call me later in the week or in the evenings. Thanks guys!

For the record I wave at other wrangler style Jeep drivers and I get waived at as well.

Puck, I can help out Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday morning; whichever is easier for you and whomever else can help out. No worries about owing me or repayment of any kind.

I may be in as well. I know I have to go to the DMV again but I don't know what time.

Well, here's what I'm thinking on my expo eventually but my factory color on the lower portion and then either a white or light silver on the top portion.

I'm hoping I can keep my garage door closed almost this entire weekend with the swamp cooler running! I'm gonna likely have a ton to do but if I can get the garage cooled down over night maybe it'll stay semi cooled during the day too even as long as I don't have to open the door up. I think other then a cut or two everything I have planned for the weekend can be done inside the garage. Even if I can keep it around 95-100 in there I'll be fine. This 117 crap is insane cause that means it's actually likely to be higher then that from what I've seen in past...

Puck, will my stock tie rod stuff fit yours? If so, you're welcome to it.
