office politics suck just as much as our nations politics. Most of the time they make it look like the most qualified gets the job, but that is only the case when there are no "Friends" on the hiring/promotion list.

EXACTLY!!! I applied for my supervisor's position, because she obviously vacated it. Went through the interview, and I felt like I nailed it. The other supervisor(equivalent position as the one I was applying to) told me he thought I would get the job because I have the experience, and knowledge required to do the job. He was surprised when I told him I got the email saying that I didn't get the position. It went to someone else. We will see who they selected for it. I know I'm more qualified than anyone else in my department, so it will likely be someone from another dept. I'm betting dollars to doughnuts its a buddy of the hiring manager. Thats how it works there. The "good ol boy" network! it sucks that its not what you know, but WHO you know! Oh well, Ill probably be making more as a tech than a supervisor anyway, and not on salary.

Has anyone checked out the chrysler "badge of honor" program? seems like a cool idea, but its got some bad reviews on the phone apps. Just curious if anyone has checked it out or done any of their trails yet.

My first job out of college was quality assurance manager for Reef... Sandal and shoe company... I was only there maybe 3 months before I quit cause I realized I'd already reached the peak of my career there the day I walked in the front door by not being a Brazilian immigrant. Only way to move up in that company was to meet 3 requirements... Be Brazilian, Surf, Smoke weed... It actually would've been an amazing company to be part of and probably lead to a crazy life with travel to all sorts of gnarly exotic places but no matter how much I surfed or how often I could tolerate getting stoned, I'd never be Brazilian. LOL

Here's what it took to qualify for the 8th starting position off the line for the Baja 500 tomorrow. Qualifying was yesterday.

"if" it sells and depending how this process goes, I'll possibly think about dipping the next truck too only cause it's actually sexy enough to care about! Plus when I scratch the crap out of it, it won't matter cause I can simply peel and reshoot it when it gets really bad. I couldn't see ever actually really painting a truck like these.

The nearest trails are in SOCAL and Moab. I tried to see if there was a way to submit new maps, but I could not find any. So I gave up on it.

They usually aren't that expensive and the cummins swap as well as power stroke are pretty popular. Do a CL search in Cali there is usually 1-2 for sale. It's like an m-175 or m-715 or something like that. I saw one on an episode of dukes of hazard that made me look for one.

For some reason?

That reason is because you are a heterosexual male.
