I'm not gonna attempt that thing till I get the front end rebuilt on the yota which may not be till fall/winter at this point since nobody else is going to do it for me... And honestly, I don't think that's going to be that good of a jump visually from outside. I bet it's 3' of air at the absolute most. It's more of the in cab rush that will be the gnarly part.

So I had assumed that the currie anti rock would work with my warn bumper since it's such a common TJ bumper. Well as usual when I assume anything I'm horribly wrong. I was wondering if anyone happens to have an aftermarket TJ bumper sitting around they would consider parting with. I'm looking for a stubby style one. If I can't find one at a reasonable price I'll just cut up the warn one I have but I figured I'd ask around first. Thanks!

So we found out that our insurance is going up $10/month when it renews mid June. We only have 1 car and I'm the only driver listed. I'm 27 no at fault accidents, tickets, or anything else that would affect our coverage. Any suggestions on where to get a quote?

This is what we're paying for a 6 month period. I ONLY have liability and its the "cheapest" option Progressive had (we even waived uninsured motorist). We started the plan paying $83/month when we got the Green XJ in 2011.

They all go off your credit score now days. I used to have progressive but found esurance to be the cheapest for me. 75 a month for full coverage

I use country. Our TJ and rango, full coverage is 140-ish a month for both. Annual membership to nv farm bureau is $10. They've been great for any and all claims! Google country financial, and choose a local agent, or pm me and I'll get you my agent's info.

My best friend is a Farmers agent if you want to look into them as well. Let me know and I will hook you up with his contact info.

There are many factors as to why rates change. Credit is one, other factors are area code, age, sex, as well as changing company standards. Add in marriage, children and the make and year of your car. You can also receive discounts for having more coverage or other forms of insurance. Rates constantly go up and down. $85 isn't really that bad. My sister is an insurance agent as well. If you want her contact info let me know.
For my truck and corolla, and my wife's merc I pay $240 a month.

I pay $201 for full coverage on both my wife's Commander and my XJ. Plus the Commander has gap insurance.

LOL, liability only on a '89 pickup and a '91 exploder, good driving record, good credit. Yeah, I don't pay a whole lot...

We use state farm and have full coverage. But our insurance is pretty low due to the fact that my wife has been with them since she was 16 and we have multiple policies through them. Have you considered getting your car insurance and home owners/renters insurance through the same place. Most companies have good sized multi-policy discounts.

LOL, my exploder is thru my nevada house policy and my yota is with my az house policy. Double dipping that discount in a way to make sure I'm getting them on both. Don't get multiple vehicle discounts but... Maybe I need to go buy more cars to get that one. Hmmmmm

haha, the funny thing was when we sold the Jetta to Andy we figured that our bill would almost be cut in half. NOT... it maybe went down 30% because of all the multi car discounts on top of the multi policy discounts.

I would feel bad about insurance but seeing that I have already have a claim for 28k totaled car, 3k hail damage on my trailer, and who knows how many windshields... I am still ahead of the game.

Also right after I totaled my car... it wasn't totaled but the adjuster was an idiot. I switched to my wife's insurance, which ran my FL lic that did not show my VA claim. So her insurance did not go up what so ever. To make matters worse 90% of my bad driving record was in VA, which never showed on my FL lic...then I added another layer by getting a TX lic. If we ever have to move back to VA my rates would be screwed though.

I hate insurance with a passion!!! I've been driving and paying it for 20 years basically now and I've had ZERO claims!!! ZERO!!!! I've been in 3 accidents ever, 2 not at fault, 1 at fault. The one at fault I paid for out of my pocket to repair the other car being a hood, hood hinges, rear window and paint, I had no damage to my vehicle.

It kills me to think of how much money I've thrown away to that crap over 20 years now at this point to have gotten nothing in return. Oh wait, that's a lie!!! I think I got a windshield replaced back on some old cars once or twice.

I'll stick with liability and roll the dice. If I total my expo, I won't exactly cry... It's not worth much anyways. Either is the toyota.
