Up until yesterday, I had never seen a notched spring plate before, they have always had holes. Are notches common?

Meh, what's the worst that could happen? It isn't like had the u-bolts popped out of the slot in the spring plate the axle would suddenly no longer be solidly mounted to the truck. Oh wait...

Wasn't as heavy with six guys taking it out of the backyard as it was with two guys putting it in the backyard a few months ago.

Hey guys!


Just wanted to say thanks to everybody that helped out, it was great!

Yes technically all that needs done is putting on the wheels, bolting up the shocks, and figuring out the brakes. Then it's off to the llanteria to get my tires switched and an alignment
