Completely forgot about that! I'll keep it in mind when going thru this stuff for sure. Not sure how much I really have for the main structure but would have a lot of gusset and support type material for it.

I'll set aside what could "maybe" come in handy and when you get the keys I'll just bring it all over along with the hoist. It'll be easy to haul back on the trailer when we're ready to go... Or... I'll just come over to the shop and knock it out there on the spot since you'll have a lot of the tools we'd need anyways. I can bring anything we're lacking short of the bender itself basically.

You cut them out. What I did was put the blade portion of a hacksaw through the hole and went to town. Once I was sure I had a decent cut into the sleeve, I started pounding on it with a hammer and punch. Once it was deformed, it popped right out. I have pictures on my phone of how I did it that I will post after I get home.

No, it means i'll get up at 8, have a coffee, and go get it, be home at like 9? I dunno, part of the reason i "sleep in" (rather than leaving the house around 6:30) until like 9 is because if iget up early it disturbs the other person in the bed and when she is disturbed/grumpy, well, you know what that does to my day.

also now i actually have motivation to get this **** box mobile by sunday afternoon, free beer at the pioneer saloon for centennial club members. Plus we have some people visiting from Luxemburg or something and what better way to introduce them to the murican southwest than with a ride in a jeep to a saloon?

i'm just pissed. this ****ing storage unit situation is ridiculous and it ALWAYS gets in the way

Also, did i hear a bunch of lifter noise in there? Sounded like it was ticking pretty decent when it was idling, also sounded like it was ticking ALOT when you let off the gas after revving it.

Hey Khris, that guy that I was telling you about with the hold downs. He actually has TJ uppers... and the bottoms do not have the tabs for the rubber grommet. I am almost thinking that he has the JK turnbuckles with TJ mounting parts.

Is that something that you guys could swap out or should I just get him to return them where he got them?

I saw you called, haven't checked my vm about it. Sounds to me like he just got a TJ kit. The turnbuckles/center section is the same on both. only difference between the JK and TJ is the top and bottom mounting brackets. Best bet is to have him swap them out thru his vendor but if they hastle him or whatever let me know and I'll get you some info for customer service here and they should take care of him for sure. We prefer to have the end use go thru their vendor though since we're not really a retail direct company.
