Basically any damage at all no matter the cause is covered with a couple reviews to back it up.
That sounds awesome. Haven't heard of a warranty like that before. Need to look into that!

I, like Puck, really shouldn't be drinking anything while reading this thread. Now if you will excuse me, I have to go clean all the little soda spots off my coffee table.

Or perhaps a glass of bourbon. That's less fattening than beer right?

I love pre paying for a rental on a trailer to move some cars to show up at uhaul and be told someone else has picked up what I rented. To make it worse they can't refund money after 5. Fan-freakin-tastic. Now I have to try and move cars tomorrow.

That would really piss me off. How many cars do you have to move?

Which uhaul store? I know someone who knows the manager at the one on Fremont!

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

not trying to convince you, just trying to tell you they have done solid work for me, and i think terry is pleased with their work too on the company limos. I am happy to send business their way because they do a great job.

Here you go Marn... Straight from your guys at swat... Like I said, $400...

Khris KadingAre you guys open on weekends? If so, what's the going rate for a higher end tint on a 4 door '91 ford explorer. Windows are currently clear. Looking for heat reduction. Also, on top of that, how much for a windshield coating as well that's pretty much clear but to help with summer heat. Looking to have it done ASAP.
Thanks

SWAT MOTORSPORTSHi khris, we use solargard high performance tint. With a lifetime warranty runs $179. The best would be solargard ultra performance ceramic film with the highest heat rejection and a lifetime warranty runs $399. As for the windshield for a clear we use llumar 80% for $150.
I got similar prices as you every where also but I'm guessing you didn't go with the higher end stuff. If I was just going for looks, I'd get the cheaper stuff too but that's actually about 0% of why I'm tinting it. I'm pretty anti the summers here in Vegas and am willing to spend cash in any way to make it a bit more enjoyable for myself. Along with this, I'm going so far as planning on doing a two tone paint on the expo with the top half being white to help with the heat. And while the headliner's out I'm going to see if there's any way to shove any additional insulation up there above my head as well.

I ended up booking an appointment at Eco, they said they would rather have me there earlier then I can actually make it to do all 7 windows plus my windshield but they said they'll stay late if I can get there by 4:30.

Also, since I'm getting my windshield done I'm going to have a new one installed tomorrow before the tint. Soonest I could get in there with their openings and my schedule is the 20th. Common sun!!! Stay away for another 2 weeks!

How much did Eco quote you? Just want to know how it compares to what I was quoted with removal of the tint on the Jetta and replacement with the higher end.

I'd have to look at my notes on my desk at work but I think they were $299 for the windows without any removal cause mine are clear on the higher end stuff. I think they went $209 for the entry level stuff and then another $125 for the windshield tint. I called quite a few places though today but I think that's where it was. That other DC place with the unlimited lifetime warranty is like $100 more and has all the pricing right on their webpage. They also say they have a heat wall where you can actually go see the difference between quality levels and can actually bring in competitor's samples to try. Looking on yelp and various similar pages they're feedback, like eco, is absolutely 100% positive where everyone else except DC and Eco seemed a little hit and miss when reading the reviews I could find.

Oh and I finally blocked the idiot from the midwest also. His posts are 100% pointless and he finally found my limit for dumbness.

You will like the work they do. I like that they dry the tint so you doing have to wait a few days to roll down the windows
