If it starts at 730 AM, you should be sleeping instead of sending me a ****ing picture via text message!!!

Do you own a clock? Do you understand that while it may be a Friday night, sometimes people DO work on Saturday?

It is the first Saturday of the month. You know what that means. I will be at Hooters though I might be a little late.

Just spent the morning at the shooting park.

Not super happy with the performance of my hand loaded 45-70. Think I need a powder scale and trickler. Stuff was fairly inconsistent. I'd get two shots right next to each other then 1 flier.

Also it's worth the trip up there just to buy ammo!

Picked up a few boxes of armscor 308 for 18 each, no tax.

It might not be the ammo andrew, probably just user error.

What he said. 45-70 is a bit hard to shoot without recoil anticipation....

oh is it?

Shooting low recoil pinking loads that i whipped up. no anticipation because there is no recoil. I shouldn't be flinching with those.

On the hot loads, however, there's a bit of a flinch.

Also the reason i doubt my load consistency is because i use powder dippers, and a business card. not a powder measure or a scale.
