Maybe they use them as ballast and for defensive measures to drop on approaching competitors?

Why. Why do I do it. Why do we do it?

Here it is the day i brought it home, in June of 2010.

Here it is a few weeks ago, essentially 3 years after purchase.

There is like $5500 in there somewhere (beyond purchase price), and the only difference I see is a stock bumper that came with it, and mismatched wheels.

If physicists want to study a black hole, there's one sitting in my driveway.

No comment other then it's hard for me to spend $5500 on a vehicle and not have something obvious to show in pictures. LOL Congrats on achieving the impossible for me!

oh but there's plenty to see! a stock bumper and the wrong wheels! And its a little bit more shiny.

I guess we could add in the spoiler too.

that alone is worth like $2000 right?

the one in that link Khris posted actually drives, probably has correct drive line angles, and has 4wd.

Hard to tell without audio. I am guessing it was a load shift. Combat take offs are crazy for heavies. I always hated them. They are always super steep climb and decent rates. To top it off you close all windows and turn off all lights so that the bad guys cannot tell if it is cargo or troops.
