And if you have gunk in your radiator like you said you did the other day, why havent you replaced your whole cooling system yet?

I just shoved a garden hose in where my t-stat goes and turned on the jeep and hose until all the fluid that came out was just clear water.
It was holding about 220 up the Baker hill then just jumped up to red. I assume the radiator is just super clogged.

It being replaced soon. I've know there was a problem, but now I know it won't handle those hills.

Did the body lift and motor mount lift last night. Got a bit of a vibration at 10-15 mph, but I should be able to adjust it out with the rear axle. There's a lot of adjustment on the control arm mounts. Just need to play with it a bit.
Puck also pointed out a clearance issue with the new front diff cover and the upper track bar mount. Any bump causes the diff cover to kiss the track bar near the frame. Even less road time for it now. Kick the saving into high gear!

Don't have the super cheap $500 to spend on it. Wiped out my jeep fun with the axles, and need to work some more OT to replenish reserves. Next week should be pretty busy, so I should be able to move forward within a month to six weeks, hopefully....

Hey Jared we passed you just before the M resort. Didn't know it was you until we passed. We had just started off again after over heating. We boiled over right at the top of the baker grade and again after primm. We've decided next trip we are renting a car.

Seriously? A $500 long arm lift? Think about that logically for a second. Lets say that you were going to build it yourself. You would spend close to $500 on heim joints alone. Dude, I am not trying to tell you what you should and shouldn't build but in this case, you get what you pay for.

I am the one who told him not to buy that $500 piece of crap!! The RE long arm kit has the crappiest geometry along side the Clayton junk. The RE bushings are junk and it's not worth $500 to have to pull off all that crap once he realizes how bad it sucks.

I'm no expert but here is what I know. Bull barrels are more of a performance barrel and are heavier. You will get more accuracy out of a longer barrel as well as a faster bullet velocity. That's all I know about it. Maybe PM rubicon I think he owns something similar and he is into long distance shooting.

I hope the head is ok...we'll see. It was starting pretty rough. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to worry about it.

I had that problem, even a flush didn't help at all. It was the radiator that solved the issue for me.

It's a used teraflex kit on CL. Not a brand new kit, it was talked about a few pages back. Get with the times Andy! Haha
