yeah, I'm not looking for cheapest... Looking for a quality look and something that helps during the summer. I'm pretty serious about trying to keep the summer heat minimal as the better I do the more I'll enjoy it I figure. It's actually the reason I'm planning the paint job that I am on the expo. If it wasn't I'd just shoot it all the factory color and move on but I want the top half all white just for that reason... Or maybe another color that I've tossed around a little but either way, it's gonna be light!

I really like the tint in the Jetta. It seriously helps with the sun a lot more than the tint on the Jeep. The test for me is driving to and from work with the sun blazing on your leg. In the Jeep, I make it about half way before my leg starts baking. In the Jetta, I don't get the baking at all. I want to go a little darker on the Jetta but that is just personnal preference.

You have to have two for sex, otherwise it is known as masturbation.

In other words, where is the front one?

Edit: Damn, beat me to the punch. Looks good Powr!

Andy/Greg, is there any coating on the front of windshield on the Jetta? Any idea what % the sides and back are?

And still stock suspension!!!

Nice purchase though! One BIG step closer to a gnarly setup!

Actually, now that I think about it, when are you going to install? Waiting for the suspension?

AFAIK, there is no coating on the front. The Jetta is at 35% right now (same with the Jeep for that matter.) I am going to go to 20% I think.

I need to see it once at least before you go darker then... I'm curious what the 35% looks like in real life from both inside and out cause it's hard to tell till it's actually done when looking at samples. I hate the tint on the expo! It might be 5% for all I know but it's WAY too dark.

Out of money for a while. Roflmao! This way, I can get the axles in, do the TC stuff, driveshafts, and roll on it on trails until the money builds enough to do the lift. I'm hoping to be there by mid July. By then, it will be miserable outside, and won't min keeping it parked. I'm stoked to start on it. Gonna take my time though. I'll bring it into the garage and work on it as time and energy allow.
