Got back from an overnight trip to the Grand Canyon Parashant at Twin Point! It was pretty sweet!

Looks great how was it? I was debating on going but I don't think the kids are quite ready for that long of a drive just yet.

I went by Khris' after picking up the parts from Garza (thanks again!) On the way home, I decided to get gas because I don't want to have to do it in the morning on the way to work. After I pulled out of the gas station, some chick in a dark blue ****box damn near side swipes me. I jammed on the brakes and laid into the horn. She just kept coming! Thankfully, I was able to avoid a crash. So now, I am behind this dark blue ****box as we pull up to a stop light. Just as we stop, the drivers door opens and I am thinking that the other driver and I are going to have words. Instead, this blond chick leans out, blows chunks, then closes the door and proceeds to run the red light. WTF?

Probably one of the best camping spots I've ever been to. The drive was long, but there were stops at different points of interest along the way that broke it up a bit. This was my first camping trip with the Desert Wranglers and I'll definitely be going on more, it was well organized and a ton of fun.

The only downside is the price. Well that and the shock angle in the back.

Side note: Yet another fatal head-on on 95 this morning. Just a month after the first. Makes me leery driving to and from work. I really wish there were another way to get here.

I guess the good thing for this one is that only the driver of the car going the wrong way died. Natural selection at its finest. They are reporting that the driver of the truck only had some back pain, I guess little civic's don't fare to well in a head on collision with a pick up truck. And my wife always wonders why I get so mad when I am distracted driving... It is not my driving that I am worried about.

Civics don't fare well when confronted with a fullsize. I have a couple of pics on my phone that I will post when I get off work.

That road is really starting to bug the hell out of me. That is the second head-on that I have been stuck in traffic for. The first was just a month ago. Back on May 14, I posted a note on FB about a white Chevy pickup going the wrong way in the northbound lanes and how I had to pull off the road to avoid being hit. I'll copy and paste it into "My Writings" thread.

Did you hear about the trucker doing it in a big rig a few weeks back?

Misspelled and auto corrected on my phone
