Add an prong to the lid for extra sealing. Measure the size, I may have something for coffee brewers that would work!

The lid doesn't weigh much so the the force of it boucing around wouldn't be much. It may not hold up to the food inside but I bet it would be okay. I vote that we use Greg's JK to try it out!

That was supposed to read ORING, not prong! Use a stronger bungee cord?

A croc pot is basically a ceramic pot on a glorified hot plate. Get a pressure cooker that has an air tight lid and adapt it to fit the hot plate of a crock pot. Bam viable solution!
