It doesn't. Reason why I have that "tender coil" set up built into my bumpstop mount. I never could understand why people would allow that to happen except for ramp queens, or to try and show their friends how cool their rig can flex It doesn't matter how long or how much travel your shocks have if you can't control the spring travel.

If you look close you can see it in there. At full droop I have a constant 150lb down-force on my coil....I wish people could understand the terms useable travel lol.

Probably the same people that do not understand a progressive rate spring. They just look at the cheapest spring that has a lift... then they wonder why the ride sucks.

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

Is that why I've got my leaf springs torn apart on the expo right now?

You should try it, you'll get hooked. If I get off my *** I want to do some bird hunting some time this season. Most likely dove. Ill let you know if you want to come along. If you haven't you may want to get your hunter safety out of the way, that is if you have any real interest in hunting.

Still a beautiful truck though.
That truck has lived its whole life in Idaho. It has the GMC hood on it in the pictures but the factory Chevy hood comes with it. I like the GMC hood better!

The price he got it for is down right stupid in my book. The truck books for 12K in bad condition. He got a steal at 5K.
