At Sandy Hook, the shooter fired around 90 rounds. That is three mags if he used standard capacity mags. He lost 6 seconds shooting time. Now lets go with 10 round mags (don't forget, they are easier to change so change time is reduced) and the aforementioned 2 seconds. He would have lost a cumulative total of 18 seconds. It took the first officer around 10 minutes to arrive on scene after the first 911 call. 18 seconds out of 10 minutes. Now seems kind of pointless doesn't it and we haven't even touched on the fact that a 10 rounder is easier to change and therefore faster. When we do, you get close to the original 6 seconds. You solved nothing.

On to your next point. 10 rounds is the max in "most" countries you say? Please, name just one. Lets not forget that some people here are far better traveled than you and know gun laws in those countries quite well. To put it bluntly, I have been to 13 separate countries on 3 different continents. Only three had a maximum capacity on magazines and not a single one of those was 10.

Care to try again?

For instance, you can take a Glock 27 magazine (which holds 9 rounds of .40) and use it in a Glock 26 9MM in which condition it will hold 13 rounds and be completely legal while doing so.

When cruising your fully caged prerunner truck and you witness a mid 80's cadi three wheel making a turn thru the intersection in front of you to the point where it's rear pass side bumper is scraping and throwing sparks while it's front drvr tire is at head height... No matter how unsafe or irresponsible that move is, it's still mandatory to roll up and give the dude props at the next intersection cause it was the coolest move I've seen on the street in a while! He was doing maybe 15mph around the corner at max so it's not like if it had broke he'd have taken out the bus stop full of nuns or anything.

I think I want one!!!! Maybe 2014's project??? The driveway would look good I think with the prerunner, built expo, race truck, 2 dirt bikes and a cadi that will lift a tire a couple feet in the air! LOL

Can't win them all Canada does have very strict gun laws though.

For the record, this forum has a neat little "ignore" feature.

Go to somebody's profile, and up on the right there is the option to "block", you will no longer see their posts, neato!

May i also remind that feeding a troll is about equal to being a troll. You know how a kid that picks on you stops when you dont let it bother you? See where I'm going? lol.

I 100% disagree. People need to understand this isn't about guns, it's about our freedoms and those trying to take them away. I am behind on reading this thread so I am sure I am late to the game on this but it just pisses me off when people try to compromise the very freedoms that so many have fought and died for that gives people the right to express their sheer ignorance.
