Finally got bored enough to put a hand throttle on the jeep. A lot easier than I thought and cheaper too.

I was hesitant on the other caliber of ammo. I typically stick with .40. The downside to .40 is finding a single stack. The only single stack .40 I found was a Taurus 709. Thanks, but no thanks. I want something reliable. Not something that might work when I need it.

I agree Puck! I am considering chopping the fenders on the Jetta and throwing some glass on it. Should be a beast Offroad. LOL

That looks good, I had always wondered about a hand throttle with my first rigs (all were standard transmission) but never got around it and thought it would be too difficult to get used to. I am curious to hear how it goes

My starter went out because of the oil filter adapter. Might want to replace the o-rings.

I gotta come up with an exhaust collector bolt, nut, and washers. One of my four are missing. Yet another example of why I don't trust stealerships to work on my ish. I should be able to come up with something by Wednesday.

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

M&P Shield 40. American Shooters had some on Thursday, worth a call. A friend just bought one recently and it shoots nice.

Damn, completely forgot about American Shooters. Of all the gun stores I visited, nobody (except Bass Pro) had a single stack .40 and there was no way I was paying the price BP was asking. Sometimes BP has some decent prices, other times they are downright retarded. I understand that Walthers pull a premium but a grand? MSRP isn't even that high.
