Haha, and it sounds like you have good plans for tonight. Did you get that leather in?

Yes I did. I have to admit that when I called, I could have been a little more cordial. LOL The lady that I spoke to told me that it wasn't processing and I flew off the handle. I probably cut her off before she could say that was because it was in the mail. I got it two days after I called.

How do you figure it is a lot of torque? VW Jetta TDi puts down a whopping 180 ft/lbs. A whole 15 ft/lbs more than a 2.4L and 42 ft/lbs less than the 4.0. I understand that you can chip it to make more power but then the question arises: being that the Jetta uses a can-bus system and will go into limp mode for damn near anything (limp mode because the traction control system is malfunctioning?) how do you get that to play nicely in a Jeep? You can't, so chipping it won't work. You have to use a stand alone engine control computer. Further, in order to get more than modest gains (~+20 HP, 62 ft/lbs) you have to upgrade things like the turbo and fuel injectors.

If you want I can jump into fuel mileage... Lets just say that I don't see the numbers that these people claim.

Make sure to always set your truck up so that the steering doubles as your skidplate!

You know that you are a jeep owner when you are super stoked that you just got 17.9mpg on a fillup even though it is rated for 20mpg

Misspelled and auto corrected on my phone

look, here's me using the correct 4 dollar tool to prevent 16 stitches. If only i had the foresight last time i did drum brakes, i'd have one less massive scar.

The most I've gotten is 23. The least is 11.04

According to my app, i average 14.3 mpg (this is an average for 1 year.)

It's the exact reason I want a Jetta tdi for commuting.
