Wow just read the grinder post. That's scary, lucky it didn't come out worse!

Nope, first sign would probably be when I didn't show up for work. I could hurt myself on a friday night and it wouldn't be uncommon for nobody to know there was anything wrong till monday morning when I didn't show up or call in. I used to take my dirt bike out solo all the time and that was always my fear with it. I always carried a nice mix of vicodins and percocets hoping if I like broke an arm or leg I could pop a good combo and maybe still ride it out. LOL

I probably would've been knocking on someones door yesterday for help if I wasn't just balled up under the truck. I'm sure with the garage somebody would hear me yelling for help. I had one a couple weeks ago that I don't remember but I'm sure most of the street heard me drop a f-bomb. I think I like crushed my hand or something. LOL I don't remember what it was but it was one that got a really loud reaction! LOL

Merrick got a good laugh from me the other night saying ouch and crying over a weld spark that made it thru his shirt! It was just a spark, not like an actual chunk of metal falling! Those don't hurt till they land someplace super tender! A spark to the chest or stomach would have to be something you had to actually pick the metal ball out of your skin to get my attention! LOL The best is having to pick a small BB out of your ankle cause it falls down your shoe and melts into you. Good times! Stupid garage! Oh wait, that's where I'm off to right now, round 2...

I hadn't really thought about how dangerous a hand grinder really is. Thinking about it now, I could easily see it kicking back and hitting the person using it or getting caught in a piece of clothing and being pulled into you. Considering that cutting wheel will cut through steel without issue, there is nothing on or in a person that it wouldn't hesitate to go through. Even bone would be no match. Talk about a scary thought taking a grinder to the chest.

Scored some new ammo off of CL @ semi decent prices; 497 rounds of .45 ACP @ $.35 per round, 200 rounds of .40 @ $.32 per round and 40 rounds of 30-30 @ $.70 per round. Unfortunately some of the .45 was aluminum or steel casings (not sure which) & I didn't realize it until after purchase, but I don't reload and it's all just target stuff anyway.

Anyone else end p doing anything interesting today?
