If you "rent" it you can clear it yourself.

V1.0

Pain in the *** V2.0, new and improved supposedly now that they're sitting lower...

Today was hands down the closest I've ever come to an ER trip due to a fab whoops! My bad religion shirt won the war and saved my *** though! I've said it before, the hand grinder is the most dangerous tool in my garage and up till today I'd only had minor small knicks here and there on my fingers from it. Well today it caught and jumped a good 10-12 inches from a bar about mid stomach height to my stomach! Hit my upper gut and luckily it sucked the t-shirt in which wrapped up and stalled it out. As it did this it twisted the whole grinder in my hands and kinda pinned my hand against the trigger. I felt it hit me and knew it broke the skin but in the moment it took me a second or two to pause and realize I was still holding the trigger on and that it was still trying to go. Finally got my head straight and let go of it and then upwrapped it out of my shirt. The shirt has a HUGE hole in it now and I got lucky and have this nifty circular shaped wound! It hit me flat instead of on edge luckily and looks like a cat scratched me in a perfect 4.5" circle! Could've been MUCH MUCH nastier as I had a metal cut off wheel on it, not like a sanding disc... I had the disc on it that I use to cut tubes off. Skin and bone and stuff would be nothing for it. So anyways, watch out for those darn things! It's the first time in 20 years or so of using them I've had it attack me and I've seen some nasty wounds. I got lucky today with it!

LOL, me too! Never took a cutoff wheel to the gut but definitely think I would've lost if it had been an edge shot. Heck, may have tried to run up the ribs too. I'm sure it would make short work of anything in its way! I've had them kick before but have enough experience to usually know when I'm in a situation where it's likely and I put some extra grip into it. Today, it was on the tube and next instance it was jammed up in my shirt! Good times! LOL

On a side note, got home from dinner and think I figured out what I'm going to do to support the bottom of the tires at least! LOL I kinda didn't have a plan figured out for that and was just wingin it... Should work. The real key will be if the jack will fit where I'm really hoping it will. If it doesn't I have absolutely zero clue where the heck I'm going to put it!

Dang Khris, good to hear that it was not worse. Do you ever have anyone check on you incase you get hurt? I would hate to hear about you kicking the bucket from a little wound that you could not get help for because you are by yourself.
