i was just gonna say i will have manual hubs (axle is coming with drive slugs tho). so, a front would be invisible.

Also i'm told that to avoid the pushing on the trail, only lock 1 hub and run in 3wd, then for the tough stuff, lock em both in.

It depends on the trail if i air down, and if i air down its only to like 15 (run 28-30 on the street).

Keeping speed up in the soft isnt hard, but keeping speed up in the bumpy is. carb goes floody floody!

I had a lockright in the rear of my first CJ and swore I would never do it again. It was super annoying between clicking and popping all the time. I also went to the snow a lot and every time I went I thought I was going to die. My two cents.
My current CJ I put an ARB in the rear and love it I plan to do one in the front eventually.

I've never done that... I'll let you know in a few months when I finally have mine in the dirt how the "push" goes. I'm curious if it's another over exaggeration though. Kinda like a spool on the street. Everyone that's never ran one says they're horrible and you should never do it. Yet, I've driven a TJ and my yota both on the street with spools and I actually liked them both better then my experiences with lockers cause they were 100% predictable and always act the same and actually you don't even notice them except for in parking lots and wet roads. Lockers suck when it's wet, spools are worse! That's the ONLY reason I'm actually not doing a spool in the rear of the expo. It's my DD and it does occasionally rain. The locker will be enough of a handful on those couple days...

Ditto, exact same on my old CJ and I'd call it a LOUD clicking, enough that EVERYONE stares when you drive thru a parking lot and then the BANG sounded like a small bomb going off in the rear or your axle exploding and anyone that wasn't staring at first then definitely was staring! LOL

You guys don't want to go shooting, you want to help me put in fake grass. It is actually such a small area that I should be done in an hour after getting the rocks out.

Misspelled and auto corrected on my phone

So are you thinking Sunday for the rock removal/grass install?

Adam, I'm really tempted to cancel my cable altogether yet just haven't pulled the plug. I need to do a little research maybe in the next week or two but I might have one here soon.

Marn, no clue on the hub situation.

Random thought, wasn't it just a week ago that there was a multi state man hunt that was the top news daily for quite a while as well as arguably the biggest man hunt in California's history because some dude killed three people? But then yesterday I'm pretty sure 3 people were killed down on the strip and yet I don't quite see the same effort being put forth. Kinda funny how that works... Maybe the range rover should've wrote a manifesto?

I will probably end up doing it Saturday morning. If I have to pile the rock in the driveway or my road until Sunday I am not that worried. It is only a 26'X5' section, so it should not take me long.

I didn't have plans Saturday until my wife made some for me. If it is early ish sat I can come by. I will probably grab my dads truck bed trailer so I don't worry about jacking up my truck. I know I'm a wuss but I try to keep the POS nice.

Cool I see them for sale on CL but I can't see giving money when they get them for free when DTV doesn't want them back. Im getting ready to head out to Cali for a job and will be living in my toy hauler for a while and want tv.
