I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.
The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.
So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!
Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?
If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!
it's late... LOL, by yesterday I meant last week! HAHAHA... I spent all night welding on lower control arm brackets at the front axle end of a TJ that were on just enough still that I'm surprised the dude made it in my driveway wtihout them ripping off. Cut them off completely and welded on some blue torch fab ones that he picked up. For not owning a jeep anymore I sure do still seem to do a lotta fixing on them!

Nope, it's just a potential still... Friends kept asking for pictures and I kept telling them there was no point cause it's so buried in the back of the shop that you can barely see it. So I finally delivered to shut them up. LOL
Find me a buyer for my hooptie and I'll pull this rig out of the barn, tear it down, steel wool the whole chassis and start reassembly all fresh and clean...
So... Just got a tracking number. Ordered my part for the expo Monday with a 2 week lead time. I guess 2 weeks is tomorrow according to fedex. Not gonna complain about that! I did plan to knock out the rest of my running boards/rocker guards next week though so they'd be done before I had the front end buttoned up. Oh well...
So I got rid of the 2012 Durango we had last Sat. at CarMax. They offered a lot higher than I expected so I got out of that high payment BS, and got my wife an '07 Yukon. BY FAR the most pleasant vehicle transaction I have ever experienced from a retail style location (I understand it's a non haggle type deal). I will probably never buy another new vehicle and will always check CarMax unless I find a by owner sale (which is what I usually like to do).
We take the Yukon into their service dept. yesterday evening due to a couple small things I want done....anyway, I drive up in my Jeep and park right in front in the little cul-de-sac where they appraise vehicles, then walk around the corner to meet my wife. About 15min go by and I decide to go get my Jeep and keep it closer to where we are at. There is like 10 customers and half the employees checking out my Jeep when I get around the corner. You know that feeling like "yea that's right, it's mine" JK They actually wanted to appraise it........the look on their face when I said the appraisal would have to be real close to the 2012 Jaguar XF they had on the lot.
If anyone's looking at LEDs I would check out the people listed in this thread. Everyone seams fairly happy with them and I think this is where most of the cheap LEDs on ebay are coming from.
I looked at those, only issue is the lack of a 50". The 42" just isn't really right for where I'd be using them. (looking for 2 bars)
