Yeah, the tommy gun!

The difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is doing something wrong and not knowing better. Stupidity is knowing better, but doing it anyway. Don't be stupid!

We all need to plan a trail so we can get an awesome group picture. I want one, and can take the pics and then email them to everyone. Could look pretty sweet! Gotta pick a good background. A large wash, lake mead, valley of fire, something!

No no no, you've got it all wrong. If we line up in front of the strippers you won't see them. They have to be draped all over the jeeps!

I feel like camping. Anyone know where I can find some cheap camping gear? Used is fine as long as it's in clean condition, but I need some space. I was thinking of the top of Table Mountain. The wind will be ripping through there, so I'd need a good, stable tent.

Yeah. I caused that.

Looks like there is an active mineral claim there. Not sure what they would want there. The only mineral we saw in abundance there was borate.

What is this Craigslist you speak of? Should I talk to Craig?

I'd love to own a surplus Army tent, but all the surplus stores here are way overpriced.

Those claims are owned by American Borate Corp, so you may be on to something.

I always thought borate wasn't worth that much, but I guess anything in volume is worth something.

I just researched calcite. I've been seeing so much quality calcite in the mines I've been exploring. Turns out it has some value. I just assumed if it had value the miners would have removed it. Interesting.

I wish I didn't know that. If I stop posting, I'm probably stuck in a mine somewhere.

Trilobites had calcite lenses in their compound eyes! Interesting, although useless info. Also, each segment would have seen a double image-it's a property of calcite crystal.

You may find yourself as a contestant on Jeopardy someday and the category may be "Trilobites". Not so useless then, is it?

That show pisses me off. It makes me feel stupid and I don't think of myself as stupid. What makes it worse is that you can go into negative scores. I'd be crying by the end of the show asking who to make the check out to.
