In case anyone is wondering, I posted a Craigslist ad to sell the Moabs I got from Puck because I can not use them with the hubs on my trailer. The lug pattern is correct but the center hole is too small. Just posting this for full disclosure and anything over the price I paid will be split down the middle with my good friend....Puck.

Been out in the garage practicing welding. I have a question about the weld pictured. What is the orange stuff in the weld itself? Am I holding the nozzle too far away from the work allowing air to contaminate it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Welding side note...cover ALL skin areas. You WILL get a gnarly sunburn and they're DEEP! Not good. Just wear a long sleeve shirt and gloves. Don't wear wife beaters and shorts!

I always thought you were supposed to weld without a shirt on? Isn't that how models get tans in the winter? I considered welding naked but was worried about what it would do to the old oak tree and acorns.
