How bad do you guys think it would be to pull the unibody back straight enough to put a fender, and core support on. Come to think of it are the core supports removable on xj's?
It's worth 700. There's enough good stuff to part out if its not repairable. You'd have to see it to tell if it could be fixed though...

do you leave the spare up there just driving around town and parked outside all the time? Only reason I'm asking is you'd be shocked what that thing will look like by the end of summer if it's parked outside all day from the sun and you MPG are probably very noticeably affected by it too. Talking from personal experience on one I used to have. I put it up there for trail runs but for day to day I kept it inside the cab.

As far as mpg, i use my XJ to take my kids to school in the morning(2 mile round trip) and weekend wheelin' trips. So as far as afecting mpg... Haven't noticed.

Ah, if it's not driven much then who cares. I'd personally toss a cover on it though to keep the UV off the sidewalls... It's pretty amazing how much easier they'll flat after just a summer sitting up there compared to being mounted no a car.

As little as I do any other day! Gotta finish up two drawings to email out for quote this morning, then try and finish the bat wing this afternoon.

I'm also worried about spending money today! I just texted a dude that's selling some shocks for a smoking price. If I get them it'll basically be the deciding factor on my toyota front suspension upgrade completely snowballing! If I get these shocks it's going to snow ball from just stronger spindles to strong spindles, new upper control arms, new upper control arm mounts, frame plating, 100% new engine cage up front, custom brake pedal assembly and probably more. Stupid hobby!!! All cause I might buy a set of shocks that are a good deal! LOL They would look good on the front of my truck though I think!

I'm working but I've started going to the gym in the morning instead of at night. Sick of the a holes that sit around on equipment instead of working out. Also I can actually find an open bench press in the AM.

my freaking wife is trying to sell my welder for me. What the hell... I told her that I cannot take the bottle with me to Germany and that I will probably sell it before we leave.

I guess I need to go through her closet and start putting stuff on craigslist for her.
