Not that I shop at Sears that much but they now have a rewards program. For signing up I got $10 off a $25 dollar tool purchase. Any reason to buy more tools is good in my book.

I did mine through Adams and the nice thing is they are local and always have the parts in stock.

If you do the SYE install do yourself a favor and buy a set of duckbill pliers. The install is REALLY simple and those pliers will take the hour long process of getting two clips off and knock it down to about 30 seconds. Once it's on the bench, it's about a 20-30 minutes job with those pliers, add an hour, some cussing, a thrown tool or 3 and some other things without those pliers! LOL

Anyone see the newest oxy/acy explosion victim? Took out a honda this time... (remember the trashbag/helium balloon combo I was talking about???)

Not as good as the FJ but still impressive...

speaking of rental cars... I had one of pos chrysler 200 as a rental car a few weeks back. RND's really did suck and the computer limited the RPM's to around 4k so the neutral drops even sucked. Good thing that the e brake still locked up good. Not that I would ever beat on a rental car

LOL, nice! I ended up with a Mazda 2 for the parker road trip 2 weeks ago and well, it wasn't good enough to even remotely do anything but it did get me from Henderson, to Parker and back up to Havasu in under 5 gallons of gas which was the purpose of the rental so I can't complain. LOL

I will also say, I'm almost worried that the gas gauge in the expo is broke!!! I know it's still getting crappy mileage but my white one was getting like 8-10mpg so now that I'm getting around 20ish it almost feels strange! I'm like almost twice the distance right now on the odo that I used to go on a tank and I'm still at 1/4... Scary!!!! LOL Considering it's the EXACT same year and model... Just shows how bad the white one was running! LOL

Hahaha. Then don't ever go anywhere near touching the gas gauge! If you get all the work finished on it and it still says you're getting 20mpg, be happy! Haha

Stupid Wagoneer always says I'm on empty. I put gas in it like every other day I drive it just to make sure haha. I'm paranoid about it. I've never run out of gas before in a vehicle

V6

My old one which was same gears and same tire size I'm going to be on, I used to get about 18 around town in San Diego with it. Only difference is that one was 4 speed auto, where this one is 5 speed manual. I'm hoping to be about the same. Honestly, the 31's with 3.73's in it... It's kind of a dog and underpowered. I'm thinking when I bump to 4.56 and 33's the engine RPM's are going to come up a bit better and I might actually see a little increase in mileage. If it was a highway cruiser this would be a great setup but around town light to light it's a bit under geared. I did get smoked off yesterday by a flat bed semi truck! Shows how slow I drive.

Best part is everything looks on schedule for me to have this expo 100% finished short of a winch by May! I'm talking painted, tinted windows, stereo system, all the suspension stuff, bumpers, etc...
