Same as every year. Loose weight, get in shape, quit smoking and be nice to people. So what else is new. Works for about a week and then.....

I guess for me, it is going to be quit stressing the little ****. Work out a bit more to make PT tests easier. And finally, learn as much about fabrication as I can so that I can be almost as cool as Khris and Dave and maybe build something cool.

I haven't had a damn bit of nicotine in three weeks. Quite the change for me being that I started smoking at 12 yrs old. Been using some form of tobacco product since then.

I'm going to get into shape. I started running again and I've been contemplating ordering P90x. I'm also going to quit drinking soda.

Headed out to shoot my AR for the 1st time and do some wheeling in the morning. I know it's last minute, but I'll be at the Blue Diamond travel center where BD and 159 meet at 8:30. Taking a buddy out in his new LJ before we tear it down and do a full build on it.

Otherwise Happy New year everyone.

The hard part is over. Once you make it two or three weeks without nicotine, it's much easier to quit. Just don't pick it up again. It saves you lots of money too! You'll get that lift in no time!

I have been dipping rather than smoking for the past few years or so. My job didn't allow me to take a smoke break whenever I wanted so I started dipping. Now I have learned that while dipping doesn't effect the lungs near as bad as smoking does, there is still an effect there. I feel much better now than I did just three weeks ago. I like the way I feel currently although I have to admit that I do miss my occasional cigar.
