About 20 inches in the last two days. Another 12 or so and it's snow mobile time!!!!

^I still think it is pretty amazing you drive that cj up there. I'm not quite ready to spend 3 hours in my jeep up there. I always drive either our FJ or my F250. I guess maybe with better tires and/or ear plugs, it would be fine. I can't stand how noisy is though at highway speed. I know, maybe I'm just a little b*tch. We are planning to go up the weekend after the New Year if the world doesn't end next Saturday. Maybe we can link up one of these days up there.

I usually cheat and tow it up. But I actually drove it this time. I should be up there that weekend too if you want to get together.

It isn't that bad. I drove from Vegas to Twin Falls only stopping for gas. I made the drive from Vegas to Houston only stopping for gas in my last Jeep. I have made the drive from Vegas to Orlando to Ft. Bragg, NC and back to Vegas again although that time I stopped a few times. The noise is really grinding after awhile and it really wears you out after a full day. Ear plugs are a help but I have found that an even better solution is noise canceling headphones. I don't listen to music through them, I use the stereo in the Jeep for that. By doing that, I ensure that I can still hear emergency vehicles and such.

Dmgiff,
Here's a link to the cliploader I bought, it works great and shipping time wasn't bad at all. Looks like there might be a few that are a buck or two cheaper and in different colors now.. Either way you look at it, this is a MUST HAVE for anyone with a Ruger Mark II or Mark III.

What kind of sled you have? When I lived in WY a buddy of mine had some old beater SkiDoos (I think) we'd have a blast all day! Also watched the Snow King hillclimbs every year, good stuff!

THanks, ordered. It's not terrible loading by hand, but it's a little hard on the thumb.
