If any of you guys know anyone who would want the '68 CJ5 I bought a while back, it's going to be for sale soon with a TBI 4.3 Chevy V6. All I want is what I have in it. I am waiting for the title to be mailed back to me in my name so that's the only hold up. It's just something I don't have the time or want to mess with anytime in the near future..............................I just bought an '84 CJ-7 thats runs, is locked front and rear, and already on 35"s Some of you guys have a gun addiction, I have a Jeep addiction (although I had zero guns a year ago.....now I have 4 )

Can anyone recommend a good muffler shop in town? Looking to replace mine in my 88 2.5 that's getting too loud, old and rattly

I've used best muffler just off freemont in the hood twice now with zero issues. The quality has been great each time. All the welds look more like cage quality welds instead of the boogered up stuff you see a lot of on exhausts. Speak with the kid David that works there and tell him your friends with Khris from TPF Racing, he might give you a price break even.

Well I went ahead and traded up yesterday. It was too good of a deal to pass up. I am a little beat though, stripping my jeep then installing most of it back on the new one last night. Only thing left to put back on the new one are some skid plates and the wheel spacers.

If you guys ever head over to Chapman in Henderson ask for Corey Brewer. He is not the typical salesman dbag. He is actually a jeep guy and very knowledgeable.

I went to prestige first and those mo fo's would not give me my keys back when I asked to leave. I was getting a little mad and almost got to the point of yelling. The kicker of it was that chapman ended up doing a dealer trade from prestige... and I only live a few miles from prestige.

X2 for Best Muffler.. good folks.

Anyone have a fantastic transmission shop that would give a good deal to a poor starving college student that is having clutch problems on a '94 YJ?

I used Bob's Transmissions over by Adam's, they were who Adam's recommended and they did a great job on mine. Is it for the kid with the teal YJ in Warmachines?

I hear the folks on jeep forum are pretty good. Clutch problems like it needs replaced or is it kicking out of gear or something?

I got white again and it has all of my junk on it so it is basically the same jeep with a new motor and ugly wheels. Once the wife gets off of work I will snap some pictures. I need to get the spacers on here soon though, it looks dorky without them.

Yeah, I've kinda adopted LittleMike as my little brother of sorts in the Jeep world and I know absolutely squat about transmissions.

Thanks for the tip, I will pass it on to him.

Yes. I am. They are hooked up by solar and batteries lol. I didn't hook anything up. They are all self contained units.

The camper will likely be adorned with actual Christmas lights and I may bring a tree.

I think people are kinda sorta hinting that depending what the problem is they'd possibly help him fix it himself... What's it doing?

Sorry, not volunteering, my garage is still full with 2 projects waiting to fill it as soon as it's current occupant is finished. If it just needs a clutch replaced though, that's a pretty easy day job for two people with a set of hand tools, a floor jack and some jack stands. I've got a trans jack if needed to borrow...

My uncle also happens to be the trans specialist at chapman jeep and he's always doing stuff on the side. I've pushed a couple different people his way. What's actually the problem? I'll see if he's interested... He's been doing it for 25+ years.
