Looking good!!!

Omg look what I made!!!

I set my dies for the correct OAL and practiced the procedure (it's not live) and I tested the crimp. It cycles and ejects like a factory load!

Ima go get some powdah and primers and jacketed bullets tomorrow!!!

for some odd reason my phone kicks all of the pictures sideways. I shot that one normal instead of landscape and it still came out sideways when I loaded it.

Yeah, but I just don't care that much about posting pictures from my phone.

On a second note I might drive down to socal today and get an extra set of rubi wheels. They are from a 13, so they are the ugly rims. But for half the price of new tires I cannot complain

Tragic reminder why you don't wheel alone...

Even when I tool around up in Mt Charleston I take cold weather gear. I could not imagine going into the Sierra Nevadas not prepared, esp during the winter.

The article said that they drove around a closed road gate, yet one of the comments from someone knowledgeable of the local area said that the road is not closed and people use it for snowmobiling during the winter.

Either way it is a sad situation that everyone should learn from. Almost as bad as that guy in Arizona last year that went out without his meds and got stuck then died. Not sure about you guys but if I have to take a specific med to keep me alive, that is the first thing that I would bring with me when I go wheeling.

And never venture away from your vehicle. It's shelter, possibly heat, and if all else fails, burn the spare tire as a beacon!!!

Well well well!!!!

my very first hand loaded round!!!

A few more came along...

and done for the day. I figure i should make sure they work before doing a bunch.

Easy peasy!

from grabbing a piece of brass, to checking final OAL (including double checking some steps like the primer) the 10th round took 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Not very fast, but i could have gone faster. I'm sure i'll become more proficient in the future.
