I built my AR. Its reliable and shoots true. I'm $800 into mine, thats with optics. Its a DPMS upper with a Plum Crazy lower. some people dont like polymer lowers, but its been great.

I am personally not a fan of Colt AR's. My reason is that I have never fired a Colt that didn't have slop between the upper and lower receivers. Because of the way that I hold an AR (right hand on pistol grip, left hand on mag well) it is impossible to get a good grouping on a loose AR. I realize that every Colt that I have shot has probably hundreds of thousands of rounds through them and have been broken down and cleaned after every 200 rounds or so but even when I handled a brand new Colt (I never shot that one) it had a little bit of slop between the receivers. That was enough for me to decide to go with something else.

I see how it is. Ask for help making your XJ more livable and you decide you don't want the help. Starting to doubt you bought an XJ at all. LOL

If y'all change ur mind about shooting, we will meet at Sloan and lv blvd s. take I-15 south to the Sloan exit(just south of st rose) then turn left. Lv blvd s is the first street after you go under the freeway. We'll be on the southwest corner in the dirt at 900. Rolling at 915!
