Thanks bud. I'm leaning towards ordering a bumper from TAG but we will see. I've also got a body shop that trades work with our company and ill see what they want to fix it. What ever is cheaper will win.

I do have a question though. The plastic that houses the wiper fluid sprayers and wipers on my truck are sun rotted and falling apart. Is it worth replacing?

Pretty sure the truck build was taken to a whole new level last night! Now we're getting serious!

Eeeek! That's why I've got faded fender flares as well that stuff is crazy expensive.

For the first time in my life I am frowning on snow... If I have to drive the Jeep to Mammoth on Wed the extra gas money is going to cut into my drinking funds.

yeah I looked at gas buddy earlier. Last time it was $4.70 up there and we spent around $205. round trip. With the Jetta I should be able to make it all the way back to Beatty before filling up. The other funny thing that I have not seen for a while was diesel was cheaper than unleaded in Bishop. According to caltrans chains are required as soon as you turn off of 395 into Mammoth. I am mostly worried about getting through the pass on 168.

We are staying at a condo right in the Village. Should be a blast without the kids or dogs in tow this time. http://www.mammothmountain.com/MyMam...ms/villageCam/

There's a pretty good mexican joint at the village. Since you're digging the mammoth scene. If you're a beer drinker, I HIGHLY recommend attending this event! It's a perfect excuse to escape our summer temps! Make sure there's no driving though while participating for obvious reasons on top of the fact that they do DUI checks around town that weekend too.

I think I already told you about that event but seriously, it's that good! LOL

we ate at Gomez's last time we went and the food was awesome. We had the dogs with us so we were drastically limited to where we could eat. Most places there with an outdoor patio will let you eat with your animals.

Not sure what the Mammoth Scene fully entails, but we both just love the mountains. When we lived in Texas we used to go to Colorado twice a year before the kids. My buddy keeps on trying to talk me into heading up to Idaho to visit so we could hit Grand Targhee.
