Looking for info on an old project I stumbled on something I put a little effort into but it ended up going nowhere. It was going to be a stamped/formed sheet metal half door. Kind of a cross between a typical half door and a tube style with the openings. It was going to be a monocoque design style and left and right doors were going to be the same with only difference being where the hardware bolted onto. It kinda went nowhere cause tooling costs scared off the money people. LOL

Yeah, I think they would've ended up being pretty cool but reality is they'll probably never see the light of day. Another project started that never made it to the finish line for one reason or another...

We might not know anything about the engine or have any way of monitoring vitals of the truck but at least we'll know where we are!

Also, to turn this...

Into this...

Was as much of a pain in the butt as I expected it to be!!!

Khris, is that the 5"? I was debating on it or the 7" for my Jeep. I was in Parker all weekend pitting for TT#53. I learned a ton so hopefully I will be some help lol. We blew another engine (4 in 4 races) cool thing is my buddy has already chatted with Kroyer and I suspect something really cool is in the works.

If you're going to be around this weekend, I'll swing by in the Jeep.

every once in a while I come across some killer deals on craigslist. Other time I see some people that believe that their stuff is like gold ... http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/pts/3342067139.html. I am pretty much speechless on this one.

There was a stock 99 Cherokee with 150k on Craigslist a while back. The price they wanted? $9500. I politely emailed them and said its worth less than half of that.

'99 XJ Sport
It has a lift
It has 31's

Garza, it's the 5". 7" would've been pretty baller but not really needed imo so we saved the money to put elsewhere on the truck.

I gave in and added some more crap to the dash last night.
