Who's wheeled in Angeles Forest and Santa Monica Mountains?

I've off-roaded back east with my old YJ, I finally got some all terrain tires on my TJ that I have here. I'd like to take some friends out for the first time this weekend, do a little off-roading, nothing crazy, just a warm up as I haven't 4x4'ed in probably 5yrs. Anyone have some thoughts on these places or good places to try? I don't wanna make an long trip to Hungry Valley yet, just do some local riding around here. I live in SFV.

Thanks guys

Rowher/Lookout Mtn are probably the closest Black Diamond trails to you, it's east of the Bouquet Reservoir north of Santa Clarita. That whole area is still closed due to the recent fires - but when it opens up again, I'll post on JF and maybe we can get a run scheduled for it
