I got my gears installed at Performance 4 Wheel Dr., 9817 Park Street, Bellflower, CA 90706-5935

It's been about 2 years now since I got the re-gear and I haven't had any issues with the gear set up.

Yeah, check out this place called CUSTOM OFF-ROAD FABRICATION in Montebello. Stand by, I'm going to find his address and phone number...

OK, I couldn't find his address but I have his number

His number is 323-568-6835. The name of the owner is Octavio. Tell him what you want done and he'll do it. He's an honest guy and reasonably priced. Tell him Max sent you.

This guy is all over craigslist..www.RWKHausSupply.com He is in Yorba Linda. There is also a guy in Azusa that used to advertise that was really reasonable but I haven't seen him lately. Where in Whittier are you? I'm just north of La Mirada.

Thank you folks. I did not know how to print out this entire thread so I used an old fashion pencil and paper and wrote everything down. I should have the cash right after the first of the year and will make some called and get gears.

Thanks again.

Great forum.

American Gear in La Habra is off of Whittier Blvd near Beach (Idaho)... He did some axle work for me until I made friends with people who can make sure I didn't screw things up....

Just thought I would give an update to what I did and where I went.

RWKHaus.com in Yorba Linda. Robert works out of his house. I ordered 4.88:1 gears from him and a Yukon Grizzly rear locker. I already had an Aussie in the front. I was going to go with a Detroit but for the same price the Grizzy came with a lifetime warranty + $2000 coverage on anything else that gets damaged should the locker fail.

I ordered the parts and they arrived at my house the next day. We set a day to do the install. I dropped my TJ off at 9:00 AM and he called me at 12 noon and said it was ready.

I can not hear any gear whine at all and in the brief time I have driven around (just to break in the gears) I have only heard two small clicks. The Grizzly seems very well behaved.

Robert was a full $500 less than the next lowest bid and he was great to deal with.

If your talking about my price, then you have to be mistaken.

If its Yukon gears then I KNOW I am listed the same as Any authorized Yukon dealer. We ALL Have to price at MAP pricing, if we are authorized.

But now if you call or email me, I Know I can beat ANY other Yukon dealer price. Just cant advertise any lower then MAP.
