Weather around Ice House Loon Lake area...

Hey all,

How's the weather around Ice House Loon Lake area looking? I'm headed up there this weekend with a few friends to camp and hike but one of the guys is sayin' half the hiking trails are full of snow.

Anyone been up that way lately know is that's true?

Cold and snowy. Look back a couple of pages on the norcal thread there are some pics from a couple of weeks a go. I was supposed to go last week, but my buddy called and they said there was still at least 15" of snow on the trail. (Rubicon)

Ice house reservoir campground was perfect, no snow and the night was not too chilly.

My buddy and I tried to take the Jeep and his FJ out to Wright Lake (NE of Ice house) and the trail was still covered in about 15" of snow but you could tell the stuff was melting steadily.
