Tranny Shop or Good Dealer in West LA?

I am not feeling good about the reviews of the local Jeep dealers service departments. My 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is throwing torque converter code and solenoid. But on threads here and my own I have asked, folks say to be careful that tranny will throw codes when its fine and just a loose wire. But to check you want either a dealer or a high end tranny shop with the right DBR reader or other scanners that are more advanced and have software updates, can test CVIs etc, because otherwise you can pay for rebuilt tranny when you dont need it.

My tranny has 87k miles and drives totally fine. I even wheeled it after the codes were popping up. Made me nervous as heck but no issues even 4 low rock climbing steep grades, and steep highway grades.

So, I live near LAX in the South Bay of LA. Anyone know of a good tranny shop familiar with these Jeep tranny issues, or a dealer I can trust to run the scan and give me the real scoop, and if its really just a wire fix it without killing me price wise?

I have a local shop I trust, super good honest people, but they admitted they do not have the same scanner or equivalent that the Jeep dealer has....but they said if a dealer can give me the full eval IF it in fact needs rebuilt, they can do it with warranty and much cheaper than a dealer. They said hopefully an honest dealer would just fix the wire or software if thats the issue because it sounds funny it will throw codes and I can wheel it and drive on highway steep grades fine.

Thanks for any help, its stressful when you do not know who to trust!
