SoCal WJ guys

I thought I would start a thread for the SoCal WJ guys. Maybe down the road we can add our own Sub-forum for us, but for now we can just get a list of who we are and general info. That way when we want to do a trail run, set up a meet n great, or wrenching party we can just go to this list and send a PM or email to everyone on it. If you prefer email then just PM me your email address and I can make a list and send out a mass email that way. I saw there is a San Diego sub forum for all Jeeps, so it should be possible to have a SoCal forum for WJ's. If someone knows how to do that please let me now. I started this list over in the WJ general forum but it got shut down a few hours later and only got a handful of guys signed up. I will add their names to this list and hopefully we will see it grow to a decent size list.

Sweet, just added you to the list and your not too far from me. I noticed your running the guard dog retreads. Do you like the tires? Any concerns/issues?

I love the tires, only had trouble with one of them when I was towing a trailer from Washington down to here. Emailed them about it and had a replacement at my door in 3 days at no cost to me. Next time I need tires, I'll be ordering from them again.

Hit up Trevino, he's in LA.

6 inch clayton lift on 33" baja claws. Looks like an armored tank, you may have seen it if you drive in LA.

I have been in contact with Trevino a couple times and hopefully will be able to go wheelin with him soon. He will probably find this thread eventually and get onto the list. I could add his info in but I will let him do that. Don't want to step on any toes.

Awesome. I might try to put together a WJ cleghorn run the week after Christmas. I need to get my bumpstops, sliders, bumpers, and front isolators all in by then. I should have most of tomorrow to get a good chunk of that stuff done.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind all that much. Driving his WJ puts a smile on my face every time. "Oh yeah I'm just gonna go around the block!" LOL NOPE!

There was one time though I actually got kinda lost though.

I've noticed that he goes a bit faster on the trails now than when we first wheeled together. He blames me for that!

Added a couple more to the list. Hopefully it will continue to grow. If anyone decides they want to organize a trail run or M&G then we now have all our screen names so it should be easy to send a PM to everyone. I plan to FINALLY take my WJ for a run. It took WAY longer then expected but most of the parts I needed to install are on. Only thing I need to install is my rear bumper and bumpstops and they are just sitting in the garage floor ready to go on. I plan to make a run up to Big Bear in a couple weeks. Will probably do something mild like Gold Mtn. to see how all the new parts will perform. Plan to do this trip either Saturday 3/10 or Saturday 3/17. It would be awesome if all you guys could come along. Gold mtn is doable for just about any build level. A stocker open front and rear might struggle, but with straping/winching from myself or someone else we could get anyone through.

I'm gonna try to make that event. I got some good stuff for my XJ last year.
Also, if anyone wants to join me on the gold mtn. run in Big Bear on Saturday 3/10 or 3/17 shoot me an email or call me. My PM box fills up WAY too fast. amlkeeling@aol.com or (909) 238-3333 Brad.
