Lj Shops near Ventura for a ReGear

Im looking for a reputable fairly priced shop to regear my 04 LJ. I contacted a local trans shop here in Ventura and they wanted $1400.00 per axle for just gears. Seems outrageously high to me. Preferably near Ventura, Santa Barbara, Thousand Oaks or Simi Valley. Thanks for any help.

Call Imported Auto Service in Santa Barbara, owner is Gary. Don't know if he will work on your jeep but he has lots of experience and knowledge with motorsports. He was my teacher a few years back, just mention me if you do call. Camilo

I'm currently in Afghanistan, returning in a couple weeks. I've sent them an email requesting a quote, but haven't heard anything back yet.
