Hello, Jeep Forum. My wife has a beautiful dark blue 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4door 4wd that she is sadly going to sell because we are moving to Cambodia.

'Chuck' has 131k miles. It's in great condition. All original parts. She just got it fully detailed and it looks like new. We also recently had new front and rear breaks put in, as well as replaced the transmission fluid line (about $1000 of repairs).

The things that are wrong with it: The Air Conditioning doesn't work. We're not sure if it's the compressor or electric, but she remembers the repair would be around $250. The felt on the interior ceiling is puffing out and drooping. And she doesn't have the front license plate holder.

We're hoping for some advice. We see prices on the internet all over the map, and want to know how much we should realistically seek. We are moving for low paying education jobs and preparing to start a family so we need all we can get.

We're also curious to know if there's a best site to use to make sure it goes to a good home. It's the last thing her father gave her before he passed so it means a lot to us.

Also: SHOULD we sell? Would this car be worth more to hold on to, either to have for the future or to sell as value increases? We'd have to pay to store it near Los Angeles for at least a year.

We've never done this and are eager for any tips and advice. Thanks very much.
