Rowher FLATS!

So my local wheeling area happens to be rowher flats, which is kind of an amateur area, not too many trails. Last time i visited, someone stopped me and told me there are a few crashed p38 lightnings up in the hills, and there were coordinates on the web. i've searched for about an hour or two, nothing about crashed airplanes of any sort there, anybody ever heard of this?

I'm thinking of heading out there this weekend.
Anybody interested in going?
This would be my first time out and it's pretty close to me.

Redoing the brake hard lines because one of the previous owners striped the bolts on the lines.

Thanks for the offer.
I have a buddy coming out to do it because I don't like messing with my brakes myself.

Must have been a heck of a turnout. We were coming up Boquet canyon on our FJR and passed 3 jeeps headed towards Santa Clarita then there were about 3 more at the air up place on Boquet.

Rowher Flats/Drinkwater Flats

Used to 4wheel, mountain bike and dirt bike this area all the time back in the 90's but since moved away. We're planning a trip back to SCV in July and I'd like to hit the trail head off Bouquet Reservoir that takes you up to the ridge and over into Rowher Flats. Also want to do Drinkwater Flats for old time sake. Last time I wheeled these trails I was driving a stock YJ with the swaybar hooked up so they were fairly challenging.

I would appreciate any info on these trails like mainly if they are still open or not. Thanks in advance. Tried calling the ANF office but just got voice mail.
