the mud rovers are definitely a good tire for light to moderate offroading. If you plan on doing high speed stuff or rocks, i suggest the BFG MT, or better yet i would go with the Toyo tires open country MT they can take a beating.

if u want to go with the mud rovers, find a local tire shop that does price matching and see if they will match the price from tirerack.com i know that they're a lot less expensive at tirerack.

or if they dont price match online dealers, see if you can get someone at a tire shop to print out a quote with BS pricing and tell the other shop to match that.

Discount Tire/America's Tire does price matching. Got my Cooper Discoverer STT's for $180 a piece. Great tires by the way.

Out of all the tires you mentioned, I would get the Duratracs. I'm not a fan of the km2's and the dunlops have no siping, so they wouldn't do well on ice if that even matters to you.

i hate to change subject but im looking for a 3" piece of DOM seamless steel tubing. anyone know where i can get some? mcmaster wants 35 bucks for a one foot piece. sizes: inner diameter 7/8", 1", 1-1/8", or 1-1/4". must have at least 1/4" wall. i dgaf about outer diameter..

about the tires, you could go with BFG ATs my dad has them on his TJ and he has no complaints. the only thing the AT aren't good at is mud. they're quiet and last a long time.

Thanks for the info...

I am really leaning towards those Duratraks. Even though I wont have a matching spare but I could just pick up a used 33" tire.

If not I think I am going to try the Dunlop tires if I stick with a mud tire.

I still have a little time before my taxes are done so I am going to keep checking Craigslist.

I have some 1/4 wall pieces laying around if you want them... just make the drive here. I buy all my material at Industrial Metal Supply off of Alton. Not open till Monday though.

You should go look. I know they have Rems all over the place that are DOM. I just built some custom control arms out of some DOM tubing they had that was 1.75" OD with .188 wall.
