I don't think that's it, there's no flat spot on top with a hole for a wing, or whatever was up there like on the one we have here. Also the top rear seems longer on ours? Close but I don't think this one is the same. Unless maybe the one I have here has been modified by someone to accept something on top of it?

I was thinking late 30's early 40's Chevy/GMC truck also with a butterfly hood but I haven't it matched it to one yet?

There could have been variations maybe, different trim levels or something added an additional piece on top?

Sure does look like it, without that notch on top I mean.

Cleghorn has some treacherous parts on the East side of the mountain. There's bypasses though. The pinnacle trail, I don't think I've been on it?

Ok good to go. Meet there around 0930? I'll shoot to be there by a little after 0900 to gas up

The google map (awesome by the way) looked like it was right by the trail/dirt roads.

WE ARE STARTING WITH 2N17X, NOT CLEGHORN.

Difficulty:
I have only run it once and was pretty new when I did it. At that point I was open/open on 2.5" lift and 33's. It was my 4th run or so and first run with a lift and some armor. I did find it difficult. Steep climbs, some with a ledge half way up a climb.

We had a few stockers (TJ and JK) with us. A stock LJ Rubicon (similar to TJ) couldn't make it up a few of the climbs, even locked. He and many of the other stockers had to take a few bypasses, but made it. Still a fun run even if you have to bypass some stuff.

Is it an easy/beginner run? No.

Again, I've only done it once about 2 years ago, so feel free to chime in if you disagree.

I tend to be on the paranoid side. So I would want a lift and at least 33" tires. A locker would be helpful, but not required.

Here's what I got so far on who's going...

Confirmed:

1) suicideking
2) zombiehunta666

On the fence:

1) cgcarpenter
2) aw12345
3) Mr. Speakeasy

No you don't air down there. Cleghorn is 1 or so mile on the freeway. If I'm thinking of what you guys are doing.

Ok, discussing with Zombiehunta: Need to figure out if we're starting with Pilot Rock 2N17X or Cleghorn. Everything I posted above is for starting out with 2N17X, not Cleghorn.

I thought 2n17X, but some of you are making it sound like Cleghorn was the starting point. So that should be figured out first.

I don't have an iphone, but work in IT so know about it. From what I've read, iphone 4 and 4s users should try to avoid the upgrade because it will make your phone run slow.

You can downgrade back to ios6. I told my wife to decline the update, at least for now.
