Firewood-check, ice chest- check. Heading out to our fire ring in the desert again in a few hours. Should be a nice night for it, may see a little lightning?

Pretty much. It just depends on the area we are in.

We need to have a jeep meet and cookout out here sometime. I don't know you guys could handle my country music though.

Great song. But I believe it's "Fancy was my name"

Lol!

Sitting here drinking Captain Morgan and roasting marshmallows with the kids - what a great night!

Funny. I'm also on ls1tech from my trans am days, and happened to run into a guy from that forum at that brewery.. Must be a forum hotspot.
Yeah it's a popular joint. I don't go crazy for most of their stuff, but as a cask ale hound, the fact that they have a working engine goes a long way. And close by, to boot.

Did you see any lightning tonight? Some friends and I were returning home from the Sierras and saw some good lightning.

The 40 was shutdown just west of Flagstaff yesterday evening. Flooded out or some ****, sat there for 3 hours till they opened it up again.

I was 4th in a group of 6 that hauled *** as fast we could down the mountain trying to get ahead of all the four wheelers that were with us when we were stopped. None of them wanted to be anywhere near us during the downpour past Seligman. The amount of water, wind, and speed combined scared everybody into staying back.

The fact that our trailers were swingin' like a gorrilas dick probably contributed the most.

EDIT: With all that being said, I come home to find that the cat is missing. ****in sitting outside on the back porch. I wonder how long she's been out there? Kinda pissed off now.

Yeah I seen a lot of intense lightening off to the north last night. We were thinking it was up around Ridgecrest. It was clear here until around 1 am.

Did you go fishing up 395, or jeeping?
