Just got word that the double wide in my yard will be gone by the weekend, so basically it's still going to be there when I get back.

In the mean time! I have $11 in my account till payday! Yaaayyyyyy!



The ordering of Jeep parts shall begin once again come Friday.

Don't you mean the half double wide? Did you patch the fence up again?

Does anyone have doors for a cj or yj or even upper doors i jave yj half doors and i really need full ill trade my half for full or ill buy uppers plz hahahahah

DAMMIT. Rig is starting to leak tranny fluid pretty bad, it's also hitting the exhaust and burning transmission fluid comes into the cab after you turn it off. Smells like ****

I need to make a big decision, either dump money into getting the tranny fixed or it might be time for a new rig

Anybody have any leads on a good transmission shop?

Can't you just rebuild it?

Or maybe find one on cl and swap them out and rebuild it lol.

To get any money out of it you'll probably need to fix it before you sell it anyways. The question you have to ask yourself is which would you rather drive off the fiscal cliff, a new one with a bunch of payments, or an old one?

wonder if it would be cheaper to find a working transmission, rather than to have it rebuilt.

All very good points.


Gary this jeep has 200k miles (rust free) but it has a lot of sentimental value. My buddy Joey who was with me on our wheeling trip said I'd hate myself if I ever sold it.

In the big picture... 1k for a new/rebuilt tranny, or 15k for a new STOCK rig with payments. I think it's obvious which way I should go, but I need to find resources. I have done engine/tranny swaps but have no garage/tools currently so I'd like to find a low key garage or person familiar with jeeps that can take care of this. I refuse to take it to a place like aamco or anything like that.

I'm on a plane to AZ for the holidays, but when I get back I'm going to check out the jeep junkyard/part out place by my house. This may be a good option

Yeah I wouldn't go to aamco either. Is yours an auto?
